BALOO TRAINING – Paper Registration Form

BALOO (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation) has been revised and we’re excited!!!! These changes will do a better job in preparing adults to lead the outdoor program for their Packs. Please note the changes to this training (now includes an overnight). This training is an outdoor skills training program for a Cub Scout Leader/parent. Every Pack must have at least one adult who has completed this course and in attendance in order to do independent Pack camping (not at a Council or District event).


Date: April 28-29 Yes, it does now include an overnight.


Time: Check In on Saturday 7:45-8:30 (Classes begin promptly at 9:00.) Keep in mind that you will need time to move your gear and put up your tent. You may arrive on Friday night 7:00-7:30 to set up. Breakfast will be provided on Saturday morning for an additional $5. Training should be completed by 12pm on Sunday.

Webelos Leaders will also be trained in OWL (Outdoor Webelos Leaders Skills) as in the past.

Early registration must be receive in the Council Service Center by 5pm on Friday, April 13. Late registrations – April 14-20 (5pm). FOR LATE REGISTRATION ADD $10 TO FEE. No refunds after April 20 and fee are not transferable. No exceptions.


We look forward to having you join us for this fun (and educational) weekend. You’ll be meeting other leaders from the across the Daniel Boone Council and sharing ideas with them for Pack success.
