Registration is OPEN for our first University of Scouting in 3 years!  

The University of Scouting is a fun-filled, hands-on training event and an opportunity to network with other Scouters. This one-day training event is designed for ALL Cub Scout and Scouts BSA Leaders and parents. There is also an opportunity to take Leader Position-Specific training for your Scouting position.

The University of Scouting courses are designed to help YOU improve your skills and increase your knowledge about Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, Commissioner Service and related subjects. Learn how Scouting works through interactive training and true to life examples of how to make the program a positive life experience for today's youth. The course selection is varied so that regardless of unit position, you will gain something to take back and implement in your unit.

Participants may register for courses in any of the course areas. For example, a Cub Scout Leader may register for a Scouts BSA or General Education course. Be sure to look at all the courses before you choose your classes. Our goal is for Scouters to increase their knowledge by experiencing the different areas of the Scouting program.

Location: Hominy Baptist Church, 135 Candler School Road, Candler, NC 28715

Registrations received by the November 4th deadline will receive a University of Scouting patch, lunch, and course completion recognition as appropriate.

Fees:

• Participant - $15 – Classes, lunch, patch
• Participant - $10 – Classes and patch (no lunch)
• Instructor - $10 – Classes, lunch, patch
