Society of Eagles

This elite society is for dedicated individuals and corporations who believe in the mission of the Boy Scouts of America and help Daniel Boone Council keep their annual Scouting programs strong for over 2,000 youth throughout Western-North Carolina. Investors whose annual support of the Daniel Boone Council, Boy Scouts of America reaches, or exceed, $2,500 are recognized as members of the prestigious Society of Eagles. Support from our friends and community is crucial to maintaining a strong, viable program for our youth.  The Daniel Boone Council, Boy Scouts of America is very grateful for the support it receives and, with the donor’s permission, will gladly recognize Society of Eagle  members for their investments in the following manner:   

  •  Society of Eagle members will be recognized in The Long Rifle, Daniel  Boone Council’s corporate E-newsletter that is circulated to over 4,000  families and businesses in Western-North Carolina on a weekly basis.
  •  Society of Eagle members will be appropriately recognized in all of our  special event programs throughout the year.
  •  Title Sponsors of our special events will be recognized in all of the events  marketing materials, be given appropriate recognition in the event program  and be recognized at event with a large banner behind the stage.
  •  Special name recognition will also be given to Society of Eagle  members at  the Council’s Annual  Eagle Scout Recognition Banquet.
  •  Members will be recognized on the Society of Eagles recognition wall in  the lobby of the Scout  Service Center.
  •  Members will be recognized on the Annual Report.

Investments qualifying for Society of Eagle recognition can be made through the following annual campaigns:

  •  Friends of Scouting Campaign
  •  Sporting Clays Invitational
  •  Annual Golf Tournament
  •  Fontana Bass Tournament
  •  Council Recognition Dinner

Giving Levels:

Silver Eagle ($2,500-$4,999)

  • Recognition in all printed materials listed above.
  • Recognition on the Society of Eagles recognition wall in the lobby of the Scout Service Center.

Golden Eagle ($5,000-$9,999)

  • Recognition in all printed materials listed above.
  • Recognition on the Society of Eagles recognition wall in the lobby of the Scout Service Center.
  • One table for eight guests at the annual Council Recognition Banquet.

Platinum Eagle ($10,000-$24,999)

  • Recognition in all printed materials listed above.
  • Recognition on the Society of Eagles recognition wall in the lobby of the Scout Service Center.
  • One table for eight guests at the annual Council Recognition Banquet.
  • Presentation of a limited edition Society of Eagles statue.

Diamond Eagle ($25,000 and up)

  • Entry into the "Good Turn Society" donors lifetime giving after making a $25,000 gift.

  • Recognition in all printed materials listed above.
  • Recognition on the Society of Eagles recognition wall in the lobby of the Scout Service Center.
  • One table for eight guests at the annual Council Recognition Banquet.
  • Presentation of a limited edition Society of Eagles statue.
  • Presenting Sponsor at Distinguished Citizens Dinner
    • All perks of Presenting sponsor, limited to first two non competing businesses. 
  • Title Sponsor at each Special Event: Bass Tournament, Golf Tournament, and Sporting Clays
    • All perks of the title sponsors for each event.
