2026 Lees-McRae Merit Badge College
The Daniel Boone Council and Mt. Mitchell District is excited to be partnering again with Lees-McRae College to bring Scouts, BSA Youth an exciting Merit Badge opportunity on Saturday, March 21st, 2026. Please join us for an amazing day of Advancment, Scout Spirit, and Fun! We will also be offering Adult Trainings at this event for Adult Leaders to continue their learning journey. In 2025, we had over 180 Youth participants representing 18 Councils!

Registration Information:
We will only be accepting Online registrations during the timeframe listed below. Late Registrations or Walk-ins will not be accepted. Classes may fill up quickly and have a varied capacity, so the sooner you register, the better your chances of enrolling in the classes you want to attend.
Online Registration OPENS on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 6:00 AM EST.
Online Registration CLOSES on Friday, March 6th, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST.

Camping will be available both evenings of Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st for interested Troops. Camping information is available in the Course Catalogue. Per Scouting America policy, all Troops deciding to camp must have at least 2 Adult Leaders, 21 years of age or older. One of whom must be a female leader over 21, for any female youth participating.
Participant Cost:
Youth Participants: $30. This includes Lunch at Lees-McRae College's Dining Facilitiy, Custom Patch, and Instructional Materials.
Adult Leaders: Free. Optional Lunch and Patch package for $15. Adult Trainings will be free of charge.
Merit Badge College Schedule:
Check-In: 7:30 am - 8:15 am
Opening Ceremony: 8:30 am
MB Session 1: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Lunch at The Summit Dining Hall: 12:10 pm - 1:20 pm
