2024 Lees-McRae Merit Badge College

The Daniel Boone Council, and Mt. Mitchell District is excited to be partnering with Lees-McRae College to bring Scouts, BSA Youth an exciting Merit Badge opportunity on March 16th, 2024. Please join us for an amazing day of Advancement, Scout Spirit, and Fun. We will also be offering some Adult Trainings at this event for Adult Leaders to continue their learning journey. 

***Camping accomodations are available Friday and/or Saturday night for Troops at no additional cost on Lees-McRae College's South Campus. Reservations for camping are due by Friday March 1st at 5 PM. If this is something your Troop is interested in, please email Jacob Whitlow at Jacob.Whitlow@Scouting.org. Troops must have a minimum of 2 Adult Leaders, Current YPT, and Health Forms Part A and B if camping on-site. Troops will provide their own meals, excluding Saturday Lunch, and gear if camping.

Registration Information:
We will only be accepting Online registrations during the timeframe listed below. Late Registrations or Walk-Ins will not be accepted. Classes may fill up quickly and have a varied capactiy level, so the earlier you register, the better your chances of enrolling in the classes you would like to attend

Online Registration OPENS on Monday, December 4th at 5:00 PM EST. 
Online Registration CLOSES on Friday, March 8th at 11:59 PM EST. 

Cost:
Youth Participants: $30. This includes Instructional Materials, Lunch at Lees-McRae College's Dining Facility, and Patch. Lees-McRae College will also be providing LMC Swag for all youth participating and a tour of campus following instruction for those interested! 

Adult Leaders: Lunch and Patch Package for $13. Adult Trainings will be free of charge.

MB Session 1: 9 AM - 12:00 PM 
Lunch at The Summit Dining Hall: 12:15 PM 
MB Session 2: 1:30 PM- 4:30 PM 
Closing Ceremony Evans Auditorium in Cannon Student Center): 4:45 PM 
Tour of Lees-McRae College Campus: 5:00 PM
