Falling Waters District Merit Badge Midway

The Falling Waters District Merit Badge Midway is an opportunity for Scouts BSA to earn a part of or all of one or two Merit Badges during two three hour sessions. All of the adults leading these sessions are qualified and registered Merit Badge Counselors.

Online Registration Only – No Walk-ins: In order for a Scout to attend, registration with payment must be completed online by Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Early registration is suggested to insure Scouts get the merit badge session(s) they want. As merit badge sessions fill up they will be taken offline.
Time: 8:00 am to 8:50 am: Check-in at Burrell Building first floor lobby
9:00 am to 12 noon: First Session in Burrell Building
12 noon to 12:50 pm: Lunch break in Café 64 located in Founders Hall
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm: Second Session in Burrell Building
Cost: $8.50 per Scout BSA whether taking one or two Merit Badges.

Most Troops will have individuals who are familiar with the use of the registration software. However, if you are not familiar with this software then go to the Step by Step Registration Guide to Software download. Use this guide, along with the Midway Registration Page download and make selections insuring that selections do not overlap.
Adult Scout leaders may take Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Job Specific training from 9:00 am to 12 noon. No registration is needed for this course and there is no charge for it. Those who are interested are asked to contact Peggy Jones at peggypjones@gmail.com or 210-836-6561 so that enough materials will be on-hand. However walk-ins will be allowed on a space available basis.
Eagle Board of Review training, which will also have material on the recent changes to the advancement process for the Eagle Scout rank, will take part from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. This training is mandatory for anyone serving on an Eagle Board of Review effective March 1, 2023 and it must be retaken every two years. In addition to Troop leaders, Troop Committee Members and anyone who is registered with Scouting is welcome to attend.
Parents who are waiting for their child and who are not registered Scouters may walk to the Café 64 in the Founders Hall to eat lunch but are otherwise asked to wait in the first floor lobby of the Burrell Building
