Existing Merit Badge Selectioned Honored and Refund procedure
Due to weather the Merit Badge Midway originally scheduled for January 24 has been rescheduled to February 21, 2026. Merit Badges that were selected for the original date will be honored at the new date. If Scouts who registered for the January 24 Midway are unable to attend this re-scheduled February 21 Midway, the procedure for requesting a refund is to email the Falling Waters District Executive, Ryan Bennett at ryan.bennett@scouting.org to let him know that you would like to cancel. Then after the event on February 23rd all the refunds will be processed at the Council office.
If a refund is to be requested Scouts are asked to make it as soon as possible so that openings in those merit badge sessions may be filled with new Scout reservations. Refunds must be requested no later than February 18.
The Falling Waters District Merit Badge Midway is an opportunity for Scouts BSA to earn a part of or all of one or two Merit Badges during two three-hour sessions. All of the adults leading these sessions are qualified and registered Merit Badge Counselors.
Be sure to completely read the Merit Badge, Adult Training and Lunch Information page before registering.
Online Registration Only – No Walk-ins: In order for a Scout to attend, registration with payment must be completed online by Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Early registration is suggested to ensure Scouts get the merit badge session(s) they want. As merit badge sessions fill-up they will be taken offline.

Some troops register as a unit. However, registration by individual Scouts is permitted. Most troops will have individuals who are familiar with the use of the registration software. However, if you are not familiar with this software then go to the Online Registration Instructions page listed below. Use this guide, along with the Midway Registration Page to make merit badge selection(s). The software will not allow you to select overlapping sessions.
Parents who are waiting for their child and who are not registered Scouters may walk to the Café 64 in the Founders Hall to eat lunch but are otherwise asked to wait in the first floor lobby of the Burrell Building
Before registering be sure to read the 2026 merit badge, adult training and lunch information available at the file download link below.
