COOL SUMMERTIME ACTIVITY.
Who: All Cub Scouts who are entering the 4th & 5th grade fall of 2008 (Webelos I & II)
What: Webelos Woods is a mini-camp designed to give older Cub Scouts in the Webelos Program the opportunity to spend some time at summer camp in preparation for becoming Boy Scouts. Scouts will participate in Archery, BB Gun Shooting, Crafts, Nature Activities, Sports, Aquatic Activities, Cooking, a Campfire program and some special treats. Opportunities to fulfill requirements toward the Arrow of Light, Belt Loops, and assorted Activity Pins. Parents do not have to come with the boys, but if a Pack is sending more than 3 boys some adult leadership is expected.
When: July 31 – August 3 Our “Fun In The Sun” weekend begins with registration from 5-7:00pm on Thursday, July 31. Group gathering of all the “Beach Bums” at 7:30. Be sure to pack a picnic supper. Events will conclude around 11:00 on Sunday, August 3rd.
Where: Camp Daniel Boone (We will be using the platform tents and adirondacks with cots)
Registration: Early registration for youth includes a t-shirt & patch; late registration includes a patch, but
cannot guarantee a t-shirt.
Early Registration must be postmarked by June 16. Late Registration is from June 16-June 30 and must include a $15 late fee.
Early Youth Registration $60
2nd Webelos from same family (early) $40
Early Youth Registration if parent patrol leader. $50 (1discount only)
Early Adult Registration if not a patrol (den) leader $50 + $10 for t-shirt (optional)
** Adult fee if a patrol (den) leader for weekend $35 + $10 for t-shirt (optional)

** How can you help?? By volunteering to be a patrol (den) leader you and your son can come for a total fee of $85 – what a bargain!!! You will be the leader for a patrol (den) of approximately 15 boys for the weekend. You will also need to attend training. Training will be held Saturday, July 12 from 1:30-5:00 at Camp Daniel Boone. This is a “first come – first serve” offer. IT WILL TAKE YOU TO HELP MAKE THIS A SUCCESSFUL EVENT.
Visit Camp and take a tour on Saturday, July 12 from 2:30-4:30pm
