2012 Troop, Pack & Crew of the Year Guidelines & Reporting Forms
By 181 on 02/26/2011
Here are the Guidelines and Reporting forms that are needed to be turned in to each monthly roundtable to help keep everything up to date for your scouts.
First and foremost we want to thank all the units who took the time and filled out and turned in your Unit of the Year Reports for 2011.
They were a very useful tool for this years nominating committee.
As with any new plan adjustments and some tweaking are required to make it even more useful.
The main changes are:
(1) All reports must be handed in at Roundtable
the month they are due. (Example January's
report is due at February's Roundtable).
The only exceptions are June and July's reports
are turned in at the August Roundtable, because
we do not have a Roundtable in July.
The other would be if a Roundtable were to be
cancelled. Reports turned in late will not be
scored!
(2) The new guidelines have District and Council
Activities listed. We will no longer require
you to have 50% participation in an event but
we need the number of Scouts and Leaders
attending an event. If you do not record
your participation numbers that event will not
be scored.
(3) In the Activities we have added attending
(4) In advancements we added
(5 ) so that you can record the number of each kind of rank advancements.
(6) Monthly Roundtables to score 10 points.
The enclosed PDF files have all 12 months for 2012 and the new guidelines are also attached. If you have any questions please contact Phil Potts philjpot@frontier.com or call 828-200-9753.
Lets help keep things tracked and up to date !!!
